Prayer Shawl

The prayer shawl ministry gathers on the 2nd Wednesday and 3rd Thursday of every month including the summer months from 2pm to 4pm in the resource room.
The prayer shawl ministry includes knitted and crocheted shawls, adult hats, baby blankets and baby hats and lap blankets for those in wheelchairs or at home in chairs.
We begin our meetings with a prayer. Patterns, yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks are available. You can bring your own materials and patterns as well. The meeting concludes with prayers over each finished project. We end with the lord’s prayer.
Completed items remain at church and are given to the samaritans for families in need. We work from home in between our meetings.
We look forward to increasing our group and welcome all. Instructions are available for those who would like to learn how to knit and crochet.
