The Sacraments are sacred signs through which God’s invisible grace becomes visible and present in our lives. Each one, instituted by Jesus Christ and entrusted to the Church, communicates God’s love and draws us deeper into communion with Him. Through ordinary elements—like water, oil, bread, and wine—God performs extraordinary works of salvation. The Church recognizes seven Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage, and Holy Orders. Together, they strengthen our faith, heal our souls, and guide us to live as disciples of Christ in the world.
