Overview:
The Confirmation Program at Resurrection Parish is a liturgical, family-centered, mission driven journey that forms young disciples not only to receive a sacrament, but to live it. Rooted in the Holy Eucharist, strengthened by the Holy Spirit, and supported by their families, our candidates are fully integrated into parish life through prayer, service, and witness.
The Confirmation Process is a two and one half year process for High School parishioners. The Sacrament of Confirmation is received in the Fall of Junior year usually for Juniors and others who complete the Formation process. (Year III of the process).- The Confirmation Program will have 9 sessions per school year.
- The sessions will begin with Mass at 7:00PM, followed by a Group Formation Session held in the Community Room
- As this is a family-centered journey, parents will be encouraged to stay for both Mass as well as the Group Formation Sessions and participate along with their teens.
- Candidates will be asked to be fully involved in the Mass serving in roles such as ushers, lectors, choir, greeters, gift bearers, etc.
- Candidates will also be required to participate in other masses outside of the Confirmation Formation Mass, complete parish service hours, and attend a Diocesan Confirmation Retreat.

Post-Confirmation:
The Post-Confirmation Ministry focuses on active discipleship through fellowship and service. By offering a youth-centered community, the ministry strives to provide opportunities for confirmed teens to connect with others, to share their interests and see how their Catholic faith relates to today’s world.
