Dear Parishioners,
Our Bishop’s visit was a true blessing for our parish community. As our spiritual father and successor to the apostles, his presence reminded us of our deep connection to the wider Church. Many of you shared with me how joyful and meaningful our Confirmation celebration was, and it truly was a day filled with grace and joy. I am deeply grateful for all your hard work and dedication, which made this day so special. It takes many hands and generous hearts to create such a beautiful celebration. Parishioners have told me how much they appreciated the ceremony and the reception afterward, and their joy reflects the faith, teamwork, and love you each brought to this important moment.
My heartfelt thanks go to our trustees, dedicated staff, deacons, wonderful catechists, altar servers, our amazing choir, ushers, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, the decoration team, and all the volunteers. Please share this message of gratitude with everyone who helped make Confirmation Day such a joyful and faith-filled event. I also want to give a special word of thanks to Mark, his wife Allison, and Linda for their extraordinary dedication, and to Laura and Tom for their generosity in covering the cost of police security and the dinner with our Bishop. He felt truly at home with us and was very happy to be part of our parish celebration. Meghan and all the volunteers, thank you for preparing such a welcoming and joyful reception after Mass. It was a wonderful moment of community, and families enjoyed it deeply.
Please forgive me if I forgot to mention someone by name; know that I am grateful to each of you. May the Holy Spirit continue to move among us and inspire those who were confirmed to see this sacrament not as a graduation, but as a new beginning, a call to serve God, witness to Christ, and build His Church with their gifts, time, and talents.
Honoring Our Loved Ones in November
On November 1 and 2, we will remember and honor our departed brothers and sisters who have passed away. You are invited to bring photos of your loved ones, relatives or friends, to place on a special remembrance table. Please also share their names with Maria so we can pray for them at all Masses throughout November.
Inclusive Mass - People with disabilities
On Sunday, November 16 at 5:00 PM, we will celebrate our Inclusive Mass. We are looking for volunteers to help, if you can assist, please contact Maria or Kathleen. We especially encourage teenagers to join us and offer an hour of service during this celebration. The Inclusive Mass will feature contemporary music. All are welcome.
